With the brand new “Flip tool” you visualize with ease! Mirror the design and use the red, green or blue areas to flip and confirm the correct orientation.
Hover
With SketchUp's new inference capabilities, M2 iPad Pro users can work faster and more accurately with the Apple Pencil by holding it just above the tablet. Hover over the tablet to find e.g. end or midpoints and draw accurately immediately without using additional guides.
Custom Toolbars
Create your own toolbars and add your favorite tools and settings to them.
Dark Mode
Switch to “Dark Mode,” work comfortably in the evening and at night and avoid eyestrain. It can also be a pleasant choice for daytime work and relieve your eyes from heavy use of your tablet.
...and more:
Tag Folder
Users can now create and manage “Tag folders” in SketchUp for iPad. Tag folders now remain intact even if you work differently in the SketchUp Web App, SketchUp Pro or Studio Desktop or in SketchUp for iPad. This way you maintain organization in your model.
Solid Tools
Solid tools allow you to create complex geometry. For example, you can edit Solid Groups/Components with the following functions: Trim, Intersect, Split, Substract, Union and Outer Shell.
DWG Import/Export
SketchUp for iPad now supports DWG export and import. So it is no longer necessary to switch to the Desktop version to import or export a DWG.
Save As & Reload
Work independently with other users on different parts of your model by storing individual components in the shared Trimble Connect folder. Different components of the model can be edited individually and reloaded into the main model using the Component Context menu. Using the “reload” option, these components can be easily exchanged.
