Description
With this plugin, you can connect to GDS Ceramics' facade simulator directly from SketchUp. Then you can place the chosen stone directly as a material in SketchUp.

Commissioned by GDS Keramiek located in Delft, we have developed a SketchUp plugin that connects to their already existing online facade simulator.
The plugin makes it possible to connect from SketchUp to the online facade simulator to compose a facade brick. Once you have made a choice, the “import to SketchUp” button allows you to import the result directly into SketchUp.
Importing produces a seamless texture of the chosen result. The texture can be found in the SketchUp materials and when the import of the texture is finished, the “Paint Bucket” will be started and the texture can be placed directly on the SketchUp elements within the drawing.
The texture is given a unique code that corresponds to GDS Ceramics' database. They can link this code to the customer who composed the facing brick and entered the data.
