Download and install software

Follow the instructions below to download and activate Podium browser.

The Podium browser license is linked to a serial number which you will receive by email. The serial number is for one user and is valid for a maximum of one year. To use and activate the Podium browser a working internet connection is required.

Note; since SketchUp 2020 the Podium browser license has been changed from a perpetual license to a subscription.

Go to the Podium browser download page and scroll down. Here you can click on “Download Podium Browser 20xx .rbz”. Once you have clicked this button, the installation file will be downloaded and saved in your download folder.

Mac OS / Windows

After downloading, follow these steps:

Open SketchUp
In the top line, click “Extensions” and then click “Extension Manager”
At the bottom left, click on “Install extension.”
On the next screen, select the .rbz file and then click “open”.

The plugin will now be installed. After the plugin is successfully installed, Podium browser's menu bar will appear in the SketchUp drawing area. Podium browser can also be found in the “Extensions -> Podium browser” menu.

Activate license

To activate the license, SketchUp must be started. Then go to “Extensions -> Podium browser” and start the feature. Podium browser now starts in free mode with limited capabilities.

Then click on the “User icon” in the top left corner.

On the next screen, click “Activate license.”

In the next window, enter the serial number and click on “Activate license.” The license will now be activated online.

Podium browser is now ready to use and can be started.
