Description
Thea Render is a high-quality and fast rendering plugin for SketchUp for Desktop. This 3D render plugin has multiple powerful rendering engines and your result can be seen directly in the Thea window or a viewport of SketchUp. With the Nvidia denoiser it is possible to suppress noise and thus create a photorealistic result.

Online materials library
Materials are available online in the Thea Content Browser. After downloading, they appear in the Bucket Tool and can be posted immediately.
The Thea Material editor lets you customize matarials and assign properties such as gloss and displacement. - Section cuts
Thea render section cuts without modifications to the SketchUp model while maintaining light and shadow effects. View the model from the inside as if you were “inside” the model. - External models
Keep your model light and fast and import high-quality 3D models as wire models into your drawing as references. This way you maintain the speed of your drawing. - Animations
Render any animation. The only condition is that it can be seen in the SketchUp viewport. Animation plugins such as MSPhysics are supported for this purpose.

- UV Randomizer
UV Randomizer is an additional option in the coordinates panel, which helps to fix unwanted pattern repetition. This adds randomness to the material for all instances using the same type of material. A good example is the parquet floor in the following example. - Bitmap Randomizer
To make the UV Randomizer even more powerful, Thea also introduced the Bitmap Randomizer option. Bitmap Randomizer gives an additional way to add variation to scenes. The user can assign multiple bitmaps to a channel, which are then randomly applied to instances using the same material. One additional option with the Bitmap Randomizer is that the probability of each texture can be set. As one might expect, the Bitmap Randomizer is not limited to images; procedural textures can also be used. Finally, the Bitmap Randomizer can be combined with the UV Randomizer to create smart materials with little effort. - Random Glints
With the addition of Random Glints, it is easier than ever to create shimmering surfaces that contain tiny reflective flakes that react to light. Although this effect can already be achieved using normal maps, the new feature is well integrated into the material setting workflow and can be activated with a single click. - Support for Substance 3D Materials
Integrated support for Substance Materials has been added in version 3.5 of Thea Render. There is no longer a need to convert Substance Materials to Thea materials, as .sbsar files can now be opened directly in the Thea Materials Editor. Here the Substance 3D parameters can then be edited directly. - Global Coordinates
Global Coordinates is a workflow enhancement that makes coordinate handling easier. Global Coordinates ensures that the different bitmaps of a material no longer have to be adjusted one by one, but the user can adjust them all at once.
